iDose TR
Every patient’s glaucoma is different, and treatment decisions should be personalized. We encourage scheduling a consultation to determine whether iDose® TR is a suitable option for your specific needs.

What is iDose TR
How it works
iDose® TR is a tiny implant placed inside the eye during a minimally invasive procedure designed to help lower intraocular pressure. It works by continuously releasing a controlled amount of medication directly inside the eye over an extended period of time. By delivering treatment at the source, iDose® TR may reduce or eliminate the need for daily glaucoma eye drops for many patients.
Benefits Include:
Continuous, sustained medication delivery inside the eye
Designed to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) long term
May reduce or eliminate the need for daily glaucoma eye drops
Helps improve treatment consistency without relying on daily compliance
Minimally invasive placement procedure
Reduces issues related to missed doses or improper drop technique
Avoids preservatives found in some topical glaucoma medications
Convenient option for patients seeking a drop-free alternative
Post Operation Recovery
What To Expect
Most patients go home the same day following the procedure. Mild redness, irritation, or temporary blurry vision may occur for a few days as the eye heals.
You will be prescribed medicated eye drops for a short period to support healing and reduce inflammation. Follow-up visits will be scheduled to monitor eye pressure and ensure the implant is functioning as expected.
Many patients are able to resume normal daily activities shortly after the procedure, although your surgeon will provide specific guidance based on your individual case. It is important to attend all post-operative appointments so your care team can closely monitor your glaucoma management.
