Dr. Shafron is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a leader in the North Texas area for glaucoma care as well as cataract surgery. Dr. Shafron is a leader in the Denton County area in performing cataract and refractive surgical procedures utilizing premium IOL implants. He is also Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Shafron is married and the proud father of three sons and one daughter.
